Symantec Endpoint Protection Cloud (SEP C) and Small Business Edition 2013 (SBE 2013) have been marked for end of life. Please be aware of the following:

• End of Sale for SEP C: Effective February 28, 2020 
• End of Sale for SBE 2013: Effective April 27, 2020
• Support for the solutions will continue to November 2, 2020
• As of November 2, 2020, Anti-Virus will no longer receive updates.   

All customers will need to fully transition from SEP C and SBE 2013 prior to November 2, 2020, or their devices will no longer be protected. Find out how Ingram Micro can help.

As stated by Symantec, “With endpoint threats continually changing, it's important that customers run the latest, most up-to date cyber security solutions possible for all endpoints. To that end, Broadcom is announcing that all customers running Symantec Endpoint Protection Cloud (SEP Cloud) or Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition (SEP SBE) will receive a free upgrade to Symantec Endpoint Security (SES), the industry-leading endpoint protection platform.”  

We understand that our partners will continue to receive customer demand for endpoint protection during the suspension of Symantec sales. Ingram Micro offers a best-in-class line card as well as subject matter consultants to provide partners with options during this time frame.

We have three ways we can help: 1) a free upgrade to Symantec Endpoint Security (SES), 2) guidance with transitioning to other solutions or 3) support for the remainder of the life of the solutions. Details regarding the free upgrade to SES prior to November 2, 2020 are still under development. When the Symantec upgrade becomes available, our team will be prepared to guide you through the process.
